Couple of things ive found whilst on the SupCom / GPG forums:

http://cavesvr.caverock.com/~andrew/nattrace/ handy little app that you can run whilst not on GPG / Supreme commander to check whether your port forwarding and other network settings are working correctly for the game

http://147.28.0.58/supcom/unit_list/r1 NFI how this came about or who made it, saw someone linking it in a random thread about overcharging, it seems to be a list of all the units and their stats in game. Note the veterancy levels :O

http://forums.gaspowered.com/viewtopic.php?t=419 stuff about performance testing, 13.1 on lowest here (except for resolution at 1600x1050, no secondary adapter, had about 44 with that)

btw i put off my dmz last night and run that tool and i have no connection problems at all, it appears that netgear routers upnp just works for ports on games. so get netgear.

Nattrace only checks you are able to connect to games as far as I can tell - my routers not configured to forward ports to my pc, but all tests on it passed. It didn't seem to have an tests to initiate connections to you.
