weird ping issue

hey all, i have a weird ping issue for you..have browsed the forums and i cannot see an issue like this..i try to explain asmuch as i can..my clan is a multigaming clan..we have 8 servers 2 of them for BF2142 and 2 for BF2..my ping is allways about 30-40ms even on the 64 /64 player server at full slots..all of these servers are located in the same area..but when i log onto BF2142 server..my ping leaps to 130-150, if i join a server which im 100% sure is next door to our servers..i get a ping of 3-40..no one else in my clan who comes from my area and connects to our server has this issue..just the one server..but annoying to say the least..any help would be nice..cheers d3r0

i cant see any application blocks with my firewall..and other BF2142 servers i game on have no issues..i dont quite get the " nvidia" remark..sorry

He might mean the Nvidia Network Access Manager which is installed with some NForce installations (assuming you have a NForce motherboard). It's well known for wreaking havoc.

If you've got this installed, get rid of it.

This is the spawn of satan and must be uninstalled ( disabling doesnt help ).
