Highly reccomended - It has the good firmware capable of homebrew, etc. Getting models capable of running the homebrew stuff is becoming harder and harder.

You'd be looking at over £150 new with a 1GB memory stick, and you wouldn't be able to put custom firmware on it, so yeah... well worth it!
