The German developer SUNFLOWERS have now opened the doors to their site for the public. The <a href="http://www.anno1503.com" target="_blank">Site</a>includes news and downloads, and does a good job of showing off their empire building strategy game which they're developing with Max Design. The site is well worth a visit and is informational but fun, including plenty of screenshots and a short F.A.Q.
