I think most people realised it runs like a dead dog without a monster system.

Although this is getting better -- they have fixed a couple of memory leaks that really hurt the later game for slower systems (beta 54).

I'll give this a try one night this week. My ADSL has been behaving horriby since before XMas, so much so that I can't really stay connected reliably to any game for long :(

TBH I played it a lot Pre-Xmas.... it runs ok on lower resolution....

Was kinda waiting for retail release to make the most of the experience....

I am wholeheartedly looking forward to kicking Wizzo's butt!

Patch 53 seems to give a lot better performance for long games. I've heard talk of memory leaks in previous patches, so either they are fixed now or the code is just better optimised, as > 30 min games don't slow down at all.

The game is out on the 20th Feb, so hopefully from patch 53 to the gold version they have performed even more tweaks. suspect a rash of patches before i30.
