Open Location not working ?

When I type an ip in to enter a server new or an old fav it wont let me in it just stays on the 1st screen but when I try to enter a game the normal way I have no problem.
Any ideas :confused:

Only thing I can think of is if you're including the unreal:// stuff in the url or anything else it's not expecting - just needs to be the IP:port

You could try "open IP:port" in the console, but that would probably give the same error as it's the same thing.

leave top line blank
tick the box
3rd line should be 85.236.100.43
4th line 7877
5th 7878

Where are you getting the IP from maybe it is wrong port and that is the query 1 or whatever the other thing is, try 85.236.100.43:7876 instead of 7877? maybe? probaly not? nevermind? ok. :)

That's the IP and port of the Random weapons server - which went down for a while recently, maybe that's why it wasn't connecting?

If so - trying it again now should result in success as it's been brought back to life.

I just put that ip on as an example of how I was doing it .
When it first happened Batty and Issis were allready in the server and gave me the ip which did not work but when I searched for it the slow way I got in no problem which led me to check other ips and favorits etc all of which did not work when typed in.:eek:

:( Looks like ur stuck with the slow way mwhaha, you'll just have to right click > add to favs all the good ones you enter ;)

Have you editted anything in the INI file recently, like to add all the MPUK servers to ur list? might have changed something by accident?
