HAHAHA ... if you are having a problem with an admin then it would be worth mentioning which server so that we can establish if it a MPUK server, and whether it is a clan or public server, else your complaint cannot be acted upon.

That more or less sums it up. I just wanted to say that I was convinced I never got an initial warning before getting kicked/banned. Also the circumstances, being kicked a first time for using french and being told I'd been doing this two days running, just seemed grossly exaggerated. Rule or no rule, it came accross as slightly "racist" if I dare use that word. This impression of harsh treatment was reinforced by by comments from another regular of Truff's who didn't like the way his case was handled either.

Anyway, that's enough of of the good guy was wronged act. Sorry for having let you all down. I am partly the friendly guy that some have come to view me as. Life has just let that potential to be ugly that I just choose to avoid. Even if the ban could be lifted, I asked for it to stay in place on a matter of principle. I needed a good excuse to get my ass handed to me on those deck-only servers. This is just a game anyway and those that act online like in real life are probably those who fully understand that. Night night and please ignore this attention whore xD .

For the record as this may seem confusing as less than half the story has been given;

Azura joined the DM server with a fake nick and repeatedly spammed HAHAHA and other things in the chatbox, annoying other players over a period of several games.

Azura has explained that this was to deliberately trap a particular admin, LG, who he suspected of acting above the rules, by recording demos and chatlogs.

He was indeed banned by LG.

Upon lengthy investigation it was found that Azura, using the fake nick HAHAHA had been fairly warned not just by LG_ but also by Batty for his repeatedly annoying behavior over a long period and that the ban was fair and proportionate.

Meh, I suppose every now and again somebody has to try to catch an admin not being perfect. I know there's a group of players on UT2004 Assault who actively try to catch me not being the super-perfect-diety-admin that I should always be, :eek:

Each admin, as far as I can tell, has their own style. I tend not to follow a single road, instead favoring taking into consideration the context of the situation. Not every teamkill is deliberate, not every cuss is the same, etc etc... depends on the situation.
