I played Eve at the very begining and got fairly bored after they nerfed my uber mining area and threw a **** loads of pirates into the sector because they thought we were making money too fast......

So is it worth re-activating?, I saw it had a load of expansions on it now but is it still primarily the same old grind? Personally I moved onto X3 Reunion for my space trading/combat game fix but pondered Eve again. However Pirates of the Burning Sea (eve on the water :P) is due in March so would I realisticly get much out of the game in 3 months play.

Yes the new patches + content are good. Come join us, forget mining, and just concentrate on the blasting-the-crap-out-of-things side. Loot wrecks!

Yea i know you don't have to mine but I had an area where I could mine the top resource hassel free so had a big indy mining macro'd and made millions within the first few days played.

I'll take a peak at it again since I have my HW Dagger now and await TBC release!

Mining is kinda Zen in a funny sort a way....but there is definitely no need to do it....

You can make very good money from missions...and a bit of Piracy! YARR!

Thats a pretty good summary right there :)

And as for your mining Deman, sounds like it was nerfed because of the whole macroing thing you had going on ;)
