Money
EUR350ish self-catering, addon catering for EUR288 each if we want. We will do the usual thing with double rooms subsidising the communal rooms, differential TBD.
Payment terms are 30% up front (EUR105), with the balance 6 weeks before departure (which would be 13/12/06).
I have an option until Monday. If I can get 14-16 people by Monday I'll confirm it, if not I'll try to extend the option. You will be asked to transfer your deposit on Monday.
Transport
Not included, and in all honesty, not looking all that cheap.
It's round the corner (20 miles) from last year, with Moutiers being the closest real town.
There is a snow train deal to from Waterloo to Moutiers changing in Paris for £109 return (11h50 on the way there, 8h40 on the way back).
Chambery Aix les Bains Airport (CMF) - 65 Miles
Grenoble Airport (GNB) - 83 Miles
Geneva Airport (GVA) - 122 Miles

Yes, definitely, without a doubt. Going to Paris next week for hols so might not be able to throw deposit around on a moments notice, but my personal guarantee should be enough to ensure someone can cover me should it be required.
So, just to confirm that's me.... SOOOOOOOOO IN.

Surely that would be faster than a TRAIN goes?

I refer the right honoourable gentleman to the case of Clarkson vs. May & Hammond, 2005. The car is indeed mightier than both the train and the plane, provided it's a Ferrari or an Aston and the driver's metaphores are potent enough.

I'm afraid I can't make this one as much as i would love to come :(
I'm having to budget my holidays next year for other costly expenses/outgoings planned.
I expect plenty of footage and snaps in my absence!!

I think I binned you earlier. If you didn't get the one with the piste maps in then you aren't on the distro any more.
There may yet be cancellations - who can say :)

Would prefer to be with the "gang".. and I kinda need to work out how i would fund this too (if a space becomes free) :p but thanks anyway.
I'm more frustrated that I waited 2 weeks to find out something they probably could have told me at the time when I asked!
And such is life :(
