I seem to remember that at I7 a portion of the power network was running very close to capacity.
It may make sense to place a mandatory box on the sign up form so people have to declare if they have a >300W PSU or a dual PSU setup, this may help you balance the power network better.
Also the Minimum spec on the MPUK site is a little out of date, a P100 with 32 Mb RAM is no longer going to play very many of the games.

I was sitting next to the distro point that kept tripping out. it seemed to be powering the first row in the Long Room and at least part of the server room.
maybe it would be good to have a distro point dedicated to the server room, if thats possible?

personally I don't think that a minimum spec is an issue anymore - most of the games only need a P100, but if you start using l33t0r graphics etc that's when you need silly processors and silly graphics cards

Tons of games you can play with just a P100; just depends on what games you do play.
Planetarion requires the ability to run a web browser.
I understand that the majority of "uber" games won't be able to run at the reasonable rate on a P100 but don't give up the ghost.

In light of the increasing trend of more power-hungry machines, we're doubling our power system capacity for i8. Yet more significant electrical expense, but it is needed to keep the quality of the gaming.
Good idea about having a box to inform us of PCs that are extra high load... could be something to consider for the future.
