I can really see sony struggling in this 'round' of the console wars...

I still think Nintendo should have called it the Superhappyfunmachine.

Everyone I know IRL wants to get a Wii or play on a Wii.
No-one I know IRL is bothered about the PS3 in any way.

The bottom line is price.
Xbox360 + Nintendo Wii + a couple of games = PS3

I predict Sony have shot themselves in the foot badly by pricing the console where they have done. Add the regional variation in pricing and people just aren't bothered any more.

We have an NDS a a few games. I'll be expanding the game range at Xmas and will be looking to getting a Wii in the New Year. It's all about having fun with your family and friends. :)

Even in the states it seems theres alot more excitement for the Wii

Well you can see opening post for evidence of that :P

But generally even discussions I've had on a few boards were a majority are in the US. They really just want to get playing.

In my opinion the best game, Wii sports. Comes in the box. Only thing you have to do then is invest in another nunchucku and wiimote. Think that runs at something like £30-£35.

Sonys profits are no shock though they've had a really bad year.

I'm genuinly happy that people are not being fooled by fancy graphics and 'cool' marketing anymore.

Sony produced some great stuff when they entered the market 10 (ish) years ago but have failed to evolve...

Tekken 6 (still not online) GT HD (who cares anymore) metal gear 4 etc... its all been done before.

There was a time I thought Nintendo we being pushed out of their own industry but I'm so glad they're back.

Long live Nintendo!!

If you looks at the line you can see that the 60 mins from here is outside the 30 mins from here. The line is clearly supposed to wrap around.... if anyone cared enough about it to create a line that long. Teehee.
