Well, i'm very interested in paintballing and I would like to organize a paintballing trip for sometime in march next year, it will(if we do actually do it) at GoBallistic Madienhead.

We can organize this through paypal, and if you're under 16 then you'll need a parental consent with you and need to bring it on the day.

This is just an idea, so no flame wars, all of this is subject to change.

It's here. (http://www.goballistic.co.uk/paintball_site_Maidenhead/index.asp)

But maybe someone else other than me should organise it, seem as though i'm only 12.

Eliot, why not get people who are 100% decided to guarantee you they'll refund you...

Pay the deposit yourself(usally 10% of the whole group), then everyone brings the rest of their cost (plus your refund) with them on the day

I think i'm trying to hard, and i'm not going to do this, I might however come and spectate the LAN.

as i said when we voice chatted, make a really big effort to come to the lan as a spectator. (i know your folk have reservations about letting you go) and look up some people from here and chat in RL..

my experience in organising events.

get a deposit from all those wanting to attend, when u have a deposit that will cover the booking fee for the event then start confirming dates etc.. some folk wont sign up when they see its poorly supported, some wont pay cash deposit if the think the event wont run (they lose deposit). If your holding a deposit from all those that want to go, u can always refund it back if the event falls thru..

worst thing u can do is pay the deposit (wiht you own cash) and have no shows, it then means u or the group have to pay for those that cant attend. for example i mate organised a karting session, we had 3 no shows, we still had to pay for these so we split the amount between the whole group rather than the organiser having to pay for himself and 3 people.

any other advise just dail me on skype and chat..

Seeing as Limi has one vote to organise I'll throw another vote that way so Limi has two!

I'm still up for this. Looks fun.
