Hey. Want to say that the 2 racing servers are very great :D
its fun to play on..

Iam Coretez, the original map maker of as-pyra and want to ask if u guys can put up my final version to your servers :)

The map will be ready to download in about 2-3 hours :)

it is a very good map (the old ones) are my favorite maps in racing ever!
i was every excited about this map when i saw it on atari forums since it looked AWSOME

but a big problem with the new version is the intense lagg
i average 30 fps on ur server and it has dropped to only 7 fps
with all due respect, i would liek that map to or taken off or fixed since it is completely unplayable

Many players have said this to us now, and it does appear to be an issue with some players.

I suffered NO lag with my rig

AMD 4400x2 with 2 gig RAM and 7800GT.

But i shall remove it for now untill such a time when we can make sure it works ok.

Its a shame because its so nice!! :(

I am running on

processor amd athlon 64 bit 3500

Vedio card 7600 gt

and 1 gig of memory

and im getting horrible frame per second in the map.

i love the map! but the two static meshs for the last obj and the tele emmiter are really lagging up map!

If you go into the properties of the staticmeshes i think thats what those things are. and change this.

oh its a mover and the other is a static mesh. had to open up map to find setting.

go into its settings. moverproperties/display/culldistance # i would make it 2056 or something like that it was set at 0 which made the computer constantly try to load up that static mesh which made the rest of the map go really slow.

iam working on a fix with some changes.
