Has this movement of equipment that caused downtime this morning Fri 15th Sept improved the mpuk adsl latencies for other people? Plus was this intended? I just noticed that my ping in wow today is around 21-27. It's never been this low before. :D

Im glad your seeing an improvement and we'd like to take the credit but unfortunately I cant see than any of the things we did would cause it so it must be magic :)

Probs my imagination, but to your credit you completed the work quickly this morning which is more than we can say for Blizzards maintenance sometimes. :P

Thanks it could have gone smoother took me 35mins to get a working id card at RedBus, not something I wanted at 5:30am, their new id system is leaving a LOT to be desired :(

So how DOES an ISP compare to an MMO host? You've intrigued me with your comment.

I was refering more to the amount of time that was scheduled for the maintenance, blizzard usually run way over.

The difference in companies was irrelivent, time keeping is what was the important point.

Depends how old your server is...I thank the gods the entire server of Burning Blade moved to Grim Batol...sexy Swedish datacentre ftw :)

Yeah a lot of this Telecity stuff they are rolling out sucks. Still I don't complain about Redbus so much these days. After trying several other colos for redundancy they are way more professional than some of the big names that have turned out to be complete jokers.
