on your racing servers 1 and 2 for ut2004(its all i go to)

is it possible to turn on 3rd person view, it sometimes helps me alot
i dont see any harm in it

ummm u guys uploaded the new maps and u didnt put on 3rd person view, if u forgot about it, can u look into it?
or if u decided not to, then....

you mean going into admin and doing a set command?

hehe

admin set Engine.GameInfo bAllowBehindView True

i think thats what you need

behindview is auto disabled on all servers as it is open to abuse, for example seeing around corners. Though tbh I cant see any harm in enabling it on the racing servers

It was auto removed as at one time it was considered lame to use it, mainly back in ut99's heyday, during clanwars and the like. Though I personally didnt have a problem with it many people did. :)

Yah i can understand that for clanmatches, but these are assult servers and are never ment to be used for serious gaming, i mean with a map with up to 35 redeemers, how can you be serious?? :D

i know this is old but a few days ago, 3rd person was put up for one of the two servers
is it possible to do the other one?
i think #2 has it (not sure)

They do both have it enabled in the configs, But finding time to restart them when there not full / have players is difficult :p

UPDATE: it was working on AS1.. there was a config error on 2 n 3 which has now been corrected

all 3 servers restarted .. should be working now :)
