Things we have learnt from MPUKAT 2006.

1) Igloo's Ear tastes nice.

8) The fit lifeguard patrols every 1min30seconds or so
9) The water tank tips every 2 mins 30 or so
10) Murray had a watch on in the pool :P

dave and afty zone out when talking to each other, so loud conversations across them involving the words "lesbian" and "threesome" have no effect and are perfectly acceptable.

17) It takes ALL of Afty / Pumpkins concentration to beat a drunk Dr_Dunce at chess. (See above Aard :P)

18) magic can kill an evenings entertainment for the rest of the group... "a quick game at 5... break for some food then another hour then we'll go do some drinking".... you guys were playing it for a good 5 hours.

19) The buffet is HORRENDOUSLY over-priced.
20) There is ONE competant barman, the others are pish!
21) The pasta from the bar menu is acceptable!
22) General wear & tear in the actual theme park is getting very noticeable!
23) Repeated complaints to the management doesn't improve service.
24) Infenro is a PERV :p

I thaught the split between magic and non-magic was roughly equal?Yeah, less than half the group played, and in total for three and a half hours (long break for food in the middle of that sesh).

25) If a small group of people play games, someone will complain the game "spoiled" it for them.

with anual pass it was £15 /head
which tbh for the range of food it had + the fact it's all you can eat isn't that expensive @ all.

I love the annual AT trip, but the single biggest let-down every year is that the meals range from average to abysmal - and the service too. If the prices were standard pub/high street prices it would be fine - but the price is around DOUBLE what you would pay from a restaurant in a high rent location and the food usually much less tasty/enjoyable/nutritious. We're seriously considering writing a letter suggesting they replace the catering manager.

The food in the Secret Garden restaurant is also very expensive and distinctly below the quality of what you would receive for the same price in a high street restaurant.

29) balance the weight on the master blaster and you will spin much better

30) this was the best week to go the park was empty on the monday

i do think AT need to imporve the service they supply at the hotels the park prices i can live with but seing as we pay so much to be in the hotel only to have big bills for every meal there its not right, also they need to train there staff and make sure there is always someone on the front desk behind the bar and at the entrance of the restaurant as they were lacking on many accasions, as for the trip had much fun the magic tourney was the best one i have done yet hours of fun, Cheers Guys,
