it would be nice if we could be notified on irc when a server had just one player present and when that was no longer the case (either because it had increased to 2 or decreased to 0) that way us regulars could more easilly keep an eye out for players appearing on the servers we play and hopefully give some newcomers more games against humans too.

it would probablly be a good idea if doing this to ignore the playercount during the first couple of minuites of a round while people wait to download and reconnect (to make the output less spammy)

e.g. something like

<servertracker> FUN now has 1 player
<servertracker> FUN now has more than 1 player
<servertracker> FUN now has 1 player
<servertracker> FUN now has no players

and so on.

I use UT TurboCheck for that ... just shows my favourites and at a glance I can see if they're full, empty or whatever.

:roller:

Irc would get very spammy for all the servers to be reported every few minutes ... it would make it difficult to see what else, if anything, was going on.

thats why i didn't suggest reporting every change in player count but only changes between empty, almost empty (1 payer) and properly populated (2 or more players).
