Have you tried a full router reboot?
Whats your connection S/N and Attenuation?
Is the router plugged into the master socket in the house?
Do all lines have filters?
Does disconnecting all other devices from the phone line help?
A few things to check, its not unheard of for a line card in the local exchange to go bad an cause these things but getting BT to check that is one hell of a game so please do check all the above.

I'm out this morning, on 56k now I feel dirty...
Efficent 5861 Router, 6.3 firmware.
Mixture of Chap password rejections and just getting no response back at all...
56k is working. Line is syncing at 2mbit, rock solid, no problems. Router config hasn't changed. Its just getting data across the line thats broken
This seems to be since about 8 this morning, when my line disconnected for some reason.

Multiplaydsl.net and clanservers.multiplay.co.uk are down currently as the machine that hosts them has failed. This also takes down our primary RADIUS server and our backup RADIUS does not seem to be functioning properly at the moment. We have engineers working on the problem right now and should have it resolved as soon as possible.
ClanForge and all other services should be functioning fine.

Yep, alive now. Thanks for the help all, think what was going on last night was to do with whatever happened today.
