seems that they're going to release the multiplayer portion of FEAR for FREE on aug 17th, after a signup so you can get the keycode.

The countdown is unfortunately based on your computer's clock. The actual release is apparently 10:00AM EST which would be approximately 4pm? I think?

So give it 15 minutes.

I cannot find an official source for the 10:00AM thing so it may be inaccurate. Oh well, it'll arrive eventually

Like I posted in the other thread, nice idea.

Except for the "please register and fill out a survey to get a key to play the free game".

Annoying but hey, that's what Hotmail is for ..

It's up now, but I had to Re-register to get my CD-Key, although I know other's are still waiting for their key's still!

Got the download.

Not got the CD Key!:mad:

Registered on 3-4 email addresses now and must of registered at least 6 times.

Not one of the addresses has the CD Key in it:mad2:

Anyone else not got the email!?

According to the website when I attempted to download...

The version of the game for my language (which is English, also tried US) is currently being translated.
Later experimentation over ALL avalible languages... show that something isnt working...

Strange I registered for my CD key on Thursday night and started the download over night using the bit torrent link, it was done by the following morning. But I'd agree that they must be having a bit of trouble with the cd key mailing because on friday morning when I registered one for my brother it took hours to come through.

I realise it's annoying but I imagine it will come through eventually, obvious I know but have you checked your spam filters?

Yep!

Checked in Hotmail, Yahoo and AOL.
Been told that AOL is the best to use as someone has registered with hotmail before and not got the email, whereas they registered with there AOL account and it came straight through:confused:

Indeed I'm really enjoying it, I love a good fast paced fps. Hopefully the blueshirts will be kind enough to host a server, with plentiful supplies of beer for payment ofc. :P

It's a quality game, hopefully will join the likes of ET as an enduring free game for the masses :d

Anyone here hosting servers or able to recommend any decent ones?
