just download the americas army 2.6 full download. there is no mods for it that i know of. Also training is the main pain in the ass mostly the last one at the end where u got to sneak around. Once you have done the training then u must get honor level 15 to beable to use the best gun the m4. Look on the internet for the answer for the medic training and armour training due to this will save time.

i got as far as identifying the equipment last night and switched it off. is there anyway of skipping the lectures and going straight to the test? got 37 in my marksman tho. hardest was the real parachute drop.

no i think ur unable to skip the lectures but im not sure as i did it ages ago. parachute is funny when u hear him breaking his legs. if you do get stuck just change your password to somthing easy send me a pm and i will do it for you.

yeah i broke my legs on the tower drop but kept missing the LZ circle on the proper jump. in the end i cranked up the brightness (night becomes day) and landed fine.

if u put the the gaming keyset on and select the different keyset for games its ace. Zboard presets are about 90% useful there is only a few i prefer my own keys assigned BF2 for example. Also it saves time sort all the keys out for games. also with the butterfly keys its all spaced out so u aint hiting two keys at the same time.

it's worth persevering and doing the training (well basic at least) as it is unlike any other game, trust me.
Because it doesnt have to sell millions of copies and has been designed as a recruitment tool the realism is awesome. There are some bugs in this release that allow for some server mods (like SF weapons on non SF maps), but this will all be fixed in the next version (us old timers are all praying it will be). The game is updated with new maps, etc about every 3 months or so.
So do your training and I am sure that some of the older vets will show you some tricks at the lan :)
