Length of time for an order

Hi,

After a two week wait, I've finally had a BT line installed for a mere £125. I can't see a price for activation, is it the standard £50+vat?

I'm intending to take up MPUK Home ADSL, but the number isn't in the BT database yet.

If it takes more than 24 hours to list on the availiblility checker, are you able to put through a manual CRF?

How long is your typical turnaround for activation once ordered?

Are there likely to be delays with the I series just around the corner?

2 weeks with internet access at the library is toooo long ;)

Hey Wishy, long time no see!

Activiation is £52.88 (inc VAT). As silly as it sounds, it's probably quicker to wait the 24/48 hours for your number to appear on the checker than to try and do anything manually - there's definately substantially less chance of things going wrong! ;)

Once we've submitted the order I'm afraid we're at the mercy of BT, typcially activation takes approximately 10 days.

The i-Series won't cause you any disruption.

Indeed, getting to multiplay LANs seems to get harder and harder for me. Getting to Westlan is troublesome and I run the bloody thing! (With the rest of the staff of course)

The sun is awful. Trains are getting cancelled left right and centre around here, I can't get around to do work. My skin is worse than its been since... The last heatwave... And I'm fed up with it!
My nice thick brick walled flat is nice and cool at least.

Seems midnight is about the time things happen in CSS ;) Worked on a ADSL Helpdesk, I tend to expect the worst!

I've tried to put through an order under mpuk account wishy but the system hung when I clicked the confirm order button.

Could you confirm if its gone through or not?
