Hey,

having a slight issue with my ping to css servers for some reason. I'm getting anywhere between 25 and 35 (sometimes higher) to uk servers, don't think it's meant to be that high but if someone could enlighten me it'd be appreciated.

if you can do a trace route using http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/winmtr_bin.zip

play for some time (at least 10 mins) and then post back your results, we can see where the problems lay.

I have a 55 ping on 95% of UK CSS Servers. It really doesnt make a difference :)

MH4815 is the easy bit.

I'm taking it i stick the ip of the server I'm playing on in the host ? sry for being a bell but best ask than do it wrong :P

yeah the destination server's ip is what you need.

that looks as fast as your connection is going to get, there isnt anything that would make me think you have a network issue.

ahhh right no probs, just presumed that as I was on 2 meg that I'd not have a ping that high. I presume it's summat to do with source then ?? I blame that for us going out the world cup tbh so I'm sure it can srew with my ping :devil:
