Cabe, Cheez, Whiteknight and I have been struggling with the definition of exactly how many an assload is.
Extensive research has revealed...

Imperial Assload
6 fistfuls in a hatful
6 hatfuls in a buttload
12 buttloads to a crapload
14 craploads to an assload

Metric Arseload
10 handfuls in a bucketload
10 bucketloads in a boatload
10 boatloads to a sh*tload
10 sh*tloads to an metric arseload

There are approximately 6 boatloads in a crapload, so an metric assload is approximately 1.2 imperial arseloads.

For external reference, a /11 of IP address space is a metric arseload.

i'm confused...

Oh, sorry - an arseload is 1.6 x 10^-7 hojillions.

Hope that clears things up.

Cabe

which is roughly equivlent to 16.5 decithingies.

well yes, 1.2 arseloads in an assload

Cabe

Actually Bvark is rounding, 1.21 arseloads to the assload is the correct coversion ratio.

so is an ass larger than an arse? i thought it was the other way around

Cabe

remember of course that, sometimes ass is ebonically known as booty.

I agree. It needs to get into Google conversion.

I always thought Arseload was imperial, and Assload was metric? (as arseload is the classic English measurement?)

Cheez

The reasoning is that americans don't use metric, and they say ass. While Europe uses metric and Arse...

What about a metric f***tonne?

Actually Bvark is rounding, 1.21 arseloads to the assload is the correct coversion ratio. 1.21 GIGAWATTS!

Does that mean Bootz is an ass?

I suggest:

1000 assloads per f*ckton
1000 metric-arseloads per metric f*cktonne

that would keep the 1.21:1 ratio between f*cktons and metric f*cktonnes intact

Being an engineer, im used to dimensional tolerances measured in gnats whatsits. How do these units relate to your arseloads?

but what the hell happened to DarkMatter?

He got a new job as a technician, but suffered an unfortunate accident one day working on the machinery (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_Hadron_Collider) when some of his colleagues misunderstood him whilst talking about his nickname.
