Anybody else experiencing random disconnects? Been having quite a few over the past couple of weeks. Submitted a mail to support about it :)

Yep, I have had random disconnects since changing to IP MAX, it always seems to be my exchange dropping me rather than anything todo with Multiplay. Good old BT.

Yeah, i've been having the same problem. just disconnects for about 20 secs before it will allow me to connect again.

I have been with multiplay for nearly a month now so i'm not in the 10 training period. also it keeps resyncing at different speeds ranging from 6500kbps to 7200kbps. this shouldn't be happening because my BRAS profile should already be set.

The other night i was disconnected for nearly an hour and it refused to let back on. its getting annoying as when i am trying to play a game, for example World of Warcraft, i get disconnected. i have to manually reconnect every time. This is especially annoying as this game is MMORPG and people rely on me when i'm there and all of a sudden i've disappeared. i've stopped playing games for now until this is sorted out.

Same thing here, though they aren't entirely random - theres a random one every few days, but everyday around 10pm I get 4 or 5 of them in a row. Also emailed support. I'm only getting 3.5 -> 4mbit syncs, so getting tempted to go back to 2mbit as it'd be a lot more stable without a huge speed decrease.

Doesn't usually stay off long - about half the time I just get a large lag spike in WoW, and very rarely lose teamspeak / irc connections, but its definetly noticeable. Probably will stop caring completly once the next WoW patch comes out, but at the moment I'm starting to really hate 'A character with that name already exists'.

seem to be getting that too recently, pain in the arse when your in the middle of gaming / downloading :)

Quick question, you guys who have experienced these problems do you have interleaving turned on or off?

It seems that with MAX download speeds come at the price of instability in many cases. Already regraded a few people down to original ADSL and I expect to see quite a few follow.

Robo... BT seem to think interleaving was turned off for you on the 19th. Are you still showing as an interleaved connection? You may need to power off your router for 30 mins to reset your port on the DSLAM, at which point retraining starts again as you've changed to a non-interleave connection.

Yeah, its definetly still on according to my router - I'd be surprised if it hadn't been off for 30 mins since then, but I'll try that later.

I was a 7200 download, but yesterday (after 19days) the dsl line state went up and down 4 times and now (seemingly random) i'm at 5400 download.

i can only blame the heat.

Disconnected router from phone line for over an hour, reconnected and I've still got interleaving.

Had the possible worse disconnect time in Ahn'Qiraj earlier, 5 mins before 10. Really should learn not to do important things around that time :). I was meant to pull a boss and adds, apparently i didn't do a great job as I got disconnected inbetween attacking them and iceblocking :)

Speeds down to 3mbit/480kbit up after that, 2mbit gamerdsl is looking very tempting.

Well after doing some speed tests today im apparently only able to download at 2.5mb compared to my normal 6/7/8, and ping times in dos/games are all over the place.

i assume your on ipmax, iirc if your getting below 5.5 meg then wizzo can slap BT around :)

Yeah im on ipmax. I'll see how it is tonight when I get home. Probably just gonna go back to regular adsl.

I get the same, happens any time of the day but worse during the late evening and all since I upgraded to the faster service from 2 meg. Turning interleaving off made no difference at all or maybe made it worse in that I got more disconnects earlier in the day. It is a real pain. If I was sure that reverting to a 2 meg connection would cure it I would consider that.
