Bit confused here... I used to think a plus next to a username on VBB meant they were a mod or admin. But that was in the old 2.x days and not 3.x - does a plus mean someone on your buddy list ?

I don't get a plus next to any bodys names... i didn't in VB2 either o_O

I think its means they are on your "friends" or "buddies" list.

italics is super moderator

bold is administrator

but i should point out that you dont see the moderator or super-moderator masks in threads, only in the "who's online" bit at the bottom of the main page

apparently + isnt moderator of a forum it's buddy list.

And * next to a name means someone thats opted out of the "who's online" list.

You only see that if your an admin though ;)
