What is the best way to do this,i have heard of so many ways that this can be done.

At the moment i have uninstalled bf2,then i have installed it again, downloading the new full patch 1.3.exe,this is where i get stuck,do i install the patch next, then install SF,then what do i have to do!!!!!!!!

Some help here for a frustrated bf2 player

Do i need to install SF or can i do that later if i decide to,am all confused lol

uninstall with their uninstaller, delete the directory afterwards if you want
install bf2
install sf, with 1.1 patch (although it doesn't matter if the patching fails)
install 1.3 patch

I think, if you wanted to install SF after patching you would then have to re-patch... but might want to ping a post onto the EA Forums and double-check

Install SF before you install 1.3, as sf auto patches the game to 1.1 before install, so then you have to run 1.3 again

Well actually I find its best to uninstall then literally burn... yes burn with fire... the CD.
