My GF and 2 of her mates came to I27 to see me and a couple of other ppl there and they got stared at constantly by all the men there, even when we went for a pint in the bar with them, they got caught on camera and ended up in a video of I27 (can member the name of the guy that done it, but it was a good vid!). They said they didn't like it at all. Maybe the reason girls dont come to many events like these is becuase of feeling intimidated by all the blokes staring at them, and b4 you all say yeah i know more and more girls are coming each time but atm it is mainly a male population. OK thats my opinion over with.

Most of you willl know that I26 was my first LAN. Needless to say i had no idea what to expect and was pretty nervous tbh. It had been described as "a room full of guys playing games for 3 days, with about 5 females" which was pretty much right. There were a couple of people who intimidated me at first, but on teh whole everyone was really nice to me, without being overly OMFGBOOBIES to me :P and i had a great time. i'm immune to most innuendo due to growing up in a house with 5 guys lol

But then you all have that don't you? :) Think about dance moves like ten-string combos on Tekken. Except you don't end up killing them. Hopefully. :) I've been dancing for about five months once or twice a week now. In most sessions the ratio is 50:50 male to female or higher (more ladies).

If you sing, you tend to have always sung, and keep doing it. I've been singing in choirs since I was about 5. Less so now because I don't have time but in the sixth form at school I was generally singing 2-3 times a day every day of the week. By definition a choir has 50:50 ratio male to female because of the way the voice parts work. (Soprano alto female, tenor bass male)

Yeah, been there too. The trick is to do the backstage stuff. Lighting/Sound/effects/props. :) Also there's less line learning that way. I took a play to the Edinburgh Fringe whilst at Uni. :)
