How many copies?

I am thinking about playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein with my friend on our laptops.

So can you use the same copy of the game on both of the laptops and do I only require an Ethernet cable plugged into the 2 laptops to play against each other?

You will need a copy for each laptop as you need a unique CD key for this game.

If you are playing on-line then you could DL RTCW:Enemy Territory which is a free stand alone game based on RTCW although somewhat slower in feel.

RTCW is my favourite game of all time! :D
