lan help

im a total noob at lan stuff im from the uk can someone please point me to a lan thats easy to setup that runs on win XP

i need a a USB type lan

it has to have all the cable everything i need to run a lan with lots of lead my sis comps is around 20 feet
i really wanna play my sister blister co-op with a lan on titan quest its broadband or lan we only have 56k modems
