looks very boring and bland to me,didnt get my juices flowing like the bf2 vids used to do watching them before that was released.

my take on 2142 is that there's a lot of little cool things, like the custom loadouts, and unlocking kit components instead of the main gun with ranks, but nothing that really makes me want to buy it. i don't think the whole experience is going to be more than the sum of the parts. that's before you get the "EA experience"

i'm still pretty undecided atm, although there are things about it that tempt me to buy it, i won't be buying it at release even if they have a solid demo. i'm waiting for others to get it first and see what they think
