Okay .. so I will confess to being quite new to the world of PC based online multiplayer. I mean im the xbox generation of multiplayer ... a slip it in and get on with it sort of guy. So im a little confusedwhen it comes to where to start. So that being said heres what I was looking for
I went into the Battlefield2 forum and was looking for a thread ( preferably one thas been pinned to the top ) which said something like ... Getting started...
Where in the advice about patches, servers, names and maps is detailed to help the new and unintiated.
Maybe im not seeing it and I confess to not "really" looking but I sat back and thought to myself. "Hmm if Iwas to post this question about getting started then it might be better posted in a generic feedback forum"
So okay I own BF2 and Fear ( the Sum total of my PC Game library ) but id like to avoid being a complete twit and at least ensure that things are as expected before I try arriving in a game .
so to recap my question ?
Are there any Getting Started threads or can someone locate some good getting started threads for the Games sections ?
