Last weekend my connection went to pot with my existing ISP; web pages taking forever to appear, download speeds terrible and ingame pings of 2000+ (WOW especially). Even today I cannot traceroute to sites without it taking forever, going 1/2way around the world, godness knows what the ISP are actually doing?. So it's time to move, the logical choice is MPUK DSL, I'm getting the MAC code from my existing provider but here lies the problem... MPUK have stopped taking on new sign ups :(. It's a shame really, our monthly downloads never exceed 25gig and the connection is used for gaming on an xbox360 or PC. We're on IPMAX service at the moment with f2s.com, and would like IPMAX with MPUK.

Once I've got the mac code I'm moving, I'd like my move to be to MPUK but if you guys arent ready I'll have to go elsewhere :(. Any idea when the "new" packages will be ready?, costs, etc.

P.S. :- I would prefer to support MPUK and keep the money within "the family" so to speak.

Firstly have you tried any anti-spyware software as it is the biggest cause of slow internet.

Yes it is a shame that MP has pulled the order page, but it seems BT cannot keep up ith the demand for high speed internet that people want in the U (or they just hogging?) and are charging appropriatly... just one of these things.. about being british i guess.

2000+ pings are ouch... something seriously not right there.. all servers or one in particular?

Thx majorpart, my machine is totally virus / spyware free I am on top of that. The connect died for two PC's (using them together / independantly doesnt matter) and xbox 360 as well :(. I might just humour myself and nuke my machine and reinstall, I'm sure it would be far more pleasing than experiencing wow at the horrendous connection speeds I'm suffering. (then again windowsxp will want to download it's patches, and that might be just distasterous).

I'm a bit disappointed atm with the lack of response from MPUK, it's like they dont want my money.. :mad: Hopefully they are working to sort these packages out. :confused:

We will take manual orders for "select" people if they approach us directly, such as "the family" as Tsunami puts it. The main reason we pulled the order form was to stop a mass influx of leeching whores from the likes of EvolutionDSL.

If you wish to order DSL, please contact us at sales@multiplaydsl.net and we'll give you the information to progress a manual order.

Cheers,

i think wanadoo is shaping my traffic horribly, i can't play any games.. but i can visit their website just fine.. not that there is anything helpful on it at all

i'd really like to sign up to multiplaydsl but i don't suppose i've been around long enough? ;-;
