Hello there,I am currently with nildram,on their adsl Max service
and I have not been very happy having gone from a 2meg conenction
that was good for gaming in most of europe,to one that is ,

1) interleaved and for nildram tot urn it off they wish to charge £12

2) 90% packet loss on a good day at off peak times
(great for aim )

3)mega dire pingtimes and also only full download speeds at off peak
hours .......

I am interested in your IP Max Premium service, seeing as I am on Adsl
Max already would I just get transferred over seamlessly to your Ip Max Premium service and just have the extra upload speed you advertise
given to me straight away?

Also I realsie from reading your content that your gamer Adsl packages
are designed for low latency,if this is the case does that mean,a person
on IP Max Package, would get worse latency then someone on say a
2meg Adsl Gamer package? If so would it be a lot worse? As I am guessing there will be more downloaders on the Ip Max packages putting strain on those of us that download and still wish to have a highly competitive gaming ping?

Lastly but not least, when I put an order in will interleaving be Set to
On or Auto,as I really couldnt stand either and would prefer it set to Off
for the obvious lower ping times/latency.

Many thanks in advance of your help

p.s if your adsl is as good as your Clanservers and server support are
then I think the futures very bright for your latest venture into Adsl;)

Yes, you can migrate directly to any of our packages including the IP MAX Premium service for free.

Any additional latency on an IP MAX service would be due to the BT network in between you and us. It's a very new service and hard to say what anyone can expect to receive but all our lines ('Original ADSL' & IP MAX) all join our network in the same way and are treated exactly the same by us. Therefore I would not expect the ADSL Gamer packages to perform any better or worse than the IP MAX packages in terms of latency.

i'm certainly migrating to mpukdsl (i just need my MAC code off nildram) and i'm a gonner. but its going to be a 1MB line from MPUK, as adsl max i can only get 1.7MB , and i'm not that fussed about loosing 70kbps tbh

what was up with nildram Shazz?

Just upgraded to the adsl max and things seem abit laggy, although haven't gamed / downloaded much recently so it just might be because I'm really rusty :)

well for me its been seeing my ping rocket to all servers over 40 to uk... and 70+ to germany.
that and nildram wanting people to shell out £12 for interleaving to be turned off,yet not mentioning to Joe public that if you had told them at the time of ordering the Max adsl they would have ordered it with interleaving off saving you £12...

Not forgetting the 80% and 92% packet loss, makes connecting with any weapon a joke especially hitscan weps
I`d feel more safer trying to hit with a melting stick of fudge :D

how do you check if interleaving is turned on or not? or is this something you can't check and have to ask the ISP regarding?

funny how nildram support kick there arse into gear when you say your switching providers.

I've just been downgraded to a more stable service and have have 6 months free internet.

we shall see how it goes, as if it goes badly. MPUK are first on my list
