Looking to migrate away from evolutiondsl who appear to be capping their service without saying so.

I would just like to ask several questions about multiplayDSL before I consider migrating.

1) When migrating away from MultiplayDSL you can only do this after your first month is up, but for actual migrations away from MultiplayDSL do you have to give a months notice?

2) If you have to give a months notice, does that mean it takes a month to get your MAC after you have ordered it, or your account stays live for a month after you've got your MAC

(basically I'm worried about 1 month contract sounding good, but then only being able to migrate in my 2nd month and it taking 1 addiition month will mean 3 months payments?!)

3) Do you block any ports or run any kind of QOS (quality of service) on your lines, which is similar to traffic shaping but caps lines based on all the users total throughput

Thanks!

For full cancellations (ie ceasing the DSL service on the line), we submit the request when we receive it; but the service will not be fully ceased for 30 days and you must continue to pay your subscription until the service is ceased (which will almost certainly roll over into the next month, therefore 1 months further subscription).

For migrations out (no cease of the service) we can get you a MAC code within a couple of days and your service will end when a new ISP takes over the line. Therefore, if your monthly billing date rolls over before the new ISP takes over the line, you will have to pay 1 months further subscription, but not if the service is moved away before the end of your monthly billing cycle.

Nope. Nothing at all like that. There are no restrictions or other network limitations on the service at all, except the limit to the speed you are paying for (ie 512k, 2Mb etc).

Hope this answers your questions. :)
