Already with Multiplay DSL on a standard Home/Office 500/1000/2000 service? Want to regrade to IP MAX? Well we can now take the orders and process them manually. Email billing@multiplaydsl.net to request your regrade.
Regrades are completely free for existing customers going up to Max. Bear in mind the stability and retraining issues that come with MAX as it is not for everyone. Read more on http://www.multiplaydsl.net/ipmax/

I'm currently on the 2MB business mpuk dsl, I'm 50% interested in regrading to MAX Premier, which is actually a tenner or so cheaper than my current 2mb business package.
What contention ratio does max premier run on?

BT don't quote contention on MAX products, but we're told you can roughly assume it will be less than the equivalent Home/Office product.
MAX premium = office (<= 20:1)
MAX = home (<= 50:1)

hmm, I am in spain on ADSL, but it seems for once we are ahead of the Uk.. (ok except london)
I have been on 8Mb for about a year now, although upload is limited to 640KB/S. We will soon be moving onto 20MB, its available throughout most of Spain and will be here on the sunny island by the summer I am told..
Only thing I'd like to ask Wizzo openly. why is it so difficult to get high upload speeds at home without going through UU Net or other? I'd like to place some servers online from my shop but the limiting fact is/has always been the upload, as it is, the only way realistically to get a gaming server online is at a central data hub, but if we could get 2mb or 4Mb then it could easily handle 12 or even 20 player servers..
I am guessing the major ISP's are capping upload speeds for a reason, but as home users get faster and faster downloads its really beginning to become a major stumbling block..

It's the nature of the agreed global standard for ADSL (which caps out around 840kbps).
Even Be Unlimited with ADSL2+ annex M in London are only getting to 1200-1300Kbps.
4Mbps from an ADSL line isn't realistic - VDSL and VDSL2 will be needed for that, but large incumbent telcos aren't rolling them out because they cannibalise existing leased line revenue.
