Can i get broadband

Basically im a little confused over whether i can get broadband or not. About a year ago i ordered broadband all the checkers said yes etc but when it came down to it, it didnt actually work. After countless BT engineers etc, no one in the courtyard i live in had success either.

Ever since checkers have still said yes, some say no and some say an engineer has being to your premises and you cant have it. Now they all seem to say yes? so whats changed?

The multiplay checker says yes. My main worry is, last time i ordered it and it didnt work it took me about 4 months to convince the isp it wasnt physically possible for me to have adsl, they blamed BT, BT blamed ISP etc. During those 4 months i had being charged as if i was using it and it took me a further 2 months to claw my money back and get out of the contract.

What is multiplays stance on this if they activate it and it doesnt work? Or furthermore can you guys do any full on line test for me to 100% confirm that the new maxdsl tech has now enabled me to get access to adsl?

Hi,

If you put your BT phone number into the Multiplay availability checker here (http://www.multiplaydsl.net/order/checker.php), it will return the available products for your line.

If the IP MAX service is in the list of available services, you will be able to place an order for it.

If, for whatever reason, the order then fails - we will notify you with the reason for the failure and (if possible) escalate the issue with BT in order to push the order through to completion.

If we are unable to provision ADSL on your line, you will not be charged. :)
