Just had a look round and wanted to say well done to those involved in the coding and design of www.multiplaydsl.net http://forums.multiplay.co.uk/images/icons/icon14.gif

Looks very professional and has all the information in plain English and easy to find.

Well done MPUK.

Yep, looks good.

Although I've noticed a wee error:

Telephone support is offered from 10:00am til 10:00pm, 7 days a week. The number to dial is:

* 0871 408 1337 (National Rate)

0871 numbers aren't national rate. They are premium rate and will be getting looked at by OfCom at an upcoming review.

It's worth noting that 0871 is up to 10p per minute at all times.

From doing some digging on this particular number, it seems to be charged a 8p per minute at all times.

You sure... I always thought 09 numbers are premium rate... 08 numbers are generally, Lo-Call, National or Free.

If your calling from a mobile throw the above out of the window...

I work in telecoms - trust me.

That's why OfCom are going to review the situation. Certain 0871 numbers and also 070x personal numbers may be reclassified as they are charging excessive amounts.

I can't confirm how much 0871 costs from a mobile, I'm sure on Orange they are all charged at 10ppm.

Even the 8ppm sketch is only a BT cost - other operators may charge more.

Heh, the only thing I've found wrong is the spelling "differant" in The Multiplay DSL Promise (http://www.multiplaydsl.net/promise.php) under No Traffic Shaping, in the last sentence :P

just wondering, is there a more comprehensive T&C legalese page to read later in the signup process?

Also, whats up with the T&C's being that of LAN events? None of you any good at legal docs?

THey are coming. Few drafts in with the legal bods but the LAN T&Cs are non-specific enough to cover us for now. We'll have the official T&Cs up within 2 weeks.

Also the faq page comes with a "guess the word" puzzle.

Once you have your MAC code, which takes the format ''BBIPxxxxxxxx/xxxxx'', you are ready to place your order with Multiplay. Visit the and provide your MAC code when prompted.
