currently on the 4th venue and stuck on "no one knows" by queens of the stoneage..

theres a real mix of tracks so far..

to unlock more tracks and venues + guitars that sound different u have to progress with passes @ the current songs..

completed moderate but have a few 5 stars that i need to complete
commencing with hard mode

expert.. forget it... its insanely quick with real cords.

Register and you can keep track of all your scores, % notes hit and note streaks (the latter two can't be saved in game).

It also gives you chance to compare your scores against your mates, the natural competitive nature of that leads to everyone trying just that bit harder.

Other stuff on there... total notes for every song (on every level), break points for getting 4 or 5 stars and the forums where you can view the note charts for every song to see where the star powers are so you can maximise your scores.

All in all a damn good site and worth spending 30 minutes getting your stuff on there. Initially you need to download the spreadsheet (go to 'Manage Scores' and click on the 'Score Hero v0.7 Spreadsheet', and fill it in, then upload it. After this you can add scores for each song individually. Don't keep uploading the spreadsheet as you'll end up with everything duplicated!

If you do sign-up you can compare your skills to mine (MaddyPaulus) or anybody else who has registered (over 800 people).. I'm doing OK up to Hard level. Easy done on 5 stars with a lot of 100%, Medium, mostly 5 stars with a few 4 star performances.. .and now I'm starting to struggle as the old fingers will NOT move quickly enough and therefore I've almost reached my physical limitations of the game.

been playing about a week, mostly 4stars on medium, learning hard songs now, along with learning timing for hammer-ons/pull-offs for solos :)

muchos fun playing Texas Flood, Ziggy Stardust or the jimi hendrix tune. Can prolly 5 star Iron Man on hard, but the damn solo messes me up every time :(

we're gonna have GH2 in the flat at the end of the month when its out :) and apparantly aswell as head to head multiplayer theres Co-op too, so i hear, one person will be able to play lead, the other rythmn or something

I got Guitar Hero 2 for Christmas, i unlocked all the songs on expert Christmas day afternoon, but 3 of the songs i haven't managed to do yet (I stupidly left my memory card at home today when i wanted to have a go)

dont suck at the game. thats probably the best hint i can give you.

dont try and do hammer ons and pull offs, you'll find it alot easier if you dont actually THINK about doing them.

Be aware that there are alternative controllers but the one advertised by Amazon and others is ONLY compatible with Guitar Hero 1, we ordered one in error and it does NOT work with Guitar Hero 2. Several buttons are reversed and others simply do not appear to work, and yet they are bundling it with GH2 .... bizarre! Basically stay clear of it, buy an original controller.
