so where can I get Alligence from before StratLan5?
everyone I speak to seems to think it's a 2-3 week lead time.

[nt] = no text.
Basically a post where the title says everything and there is no text in the body.
Smartmonkey - Don't worry obtaining a copy of Allegiance *before* StratLAN. Just order one, and if it hasn't arrived, I will sort you out at Stratford no problemo (as long as you ain't warezing it without paying for it, it's no probs to install it on your machine IMO).
Incidentally, any progress on a 15" / 17" monitor? Im going to StratLAN 5 too, so if you do manage to find a suitable one before then, it would save on shipping hassles. And I can buy you beer. ;)

Where does 100Hz refresh rate come into it?
Just any old run of the mill 15 or 17 inch would be great, with 72hz or maybe 85hz refresh?

100 Mhz is the lowest refresh rate that the ASUS stereo Goggles will work, just in case you wanted to play with a pair.

ASUS Stereo goggles?
What be them then?
I'm just happy with a monitor that displays red. ;)

Hey Mr Monkey :)
I got Allegence from Jungle.com for about 15 bucks. They said it was going to take 15 days but i got it in a week. Plus the free 'Lion Sleeps Tonight' Jungle.com CD single is not to be missed ;-)
