As mentioned in the other thread, I'll be moving on the 17th and plan to downgrade my Plusnet account on the 16th to dial-up only. Confirmed with BT today that my line will be active around lunch-time on the 17th (I'm keeping my current number).
Is it best to call Multiplay then or is there something I can do sooner to speed up the process? Don't make me go 7 WHOLE days without my net connection!! ;)

I may be wrong here, as I mainly deal with ADSL faults and not provisions for another ISP, but I don't think you can start ADSL provision until the PSTN line has been completed.

There is a process by which you can do a simultaneous PSTN + ADSL order, whereby the ADSL connection is active when the PSTN is installed. It requires pre-ordering the ADSL with us and us then giving you a reference number which you need to ring up BT retail and quote when you order the new line.
If you've already ordered the new line, then you will need to wait for the BT install job on that line to be closed before we can order ADSL against it.
