I suggest X-Scape at castleford, theres so much to do at the same complex if you fancy a break and theres a nice hotel right next door!

http://www.xscape.co.uk/snow/castleford/whats-inside/conference-centre-events-venue/

Check out the conference/venue page!
Check out the rest of the above site for info on the venues facilities, id list them all here but theres quite a few, but thy include Skiing, climbing, night club, etc.

Also next to X-Scape castleford is Freeport shopping centre, a KFC, a Pizza Hut I think (Someone know, let me know), and a B&Q.

(I have sent an enquiry regarding prices, please watch this space for more information!)

I have allways wanted to do a LAN up here but I dont know where to start trying to sort out equipment and money for expenses, etc, so if MPUK went ahead with one it would be great :D

Prices are?

I would expect it to be very expensive, and doesn't look very large at all, but it would make an excellent venue.

Suspect I would be on the slope more than my PC.

The MK version has Nightclubs and skydiving too :D

As much time as I've spent there (the MK one), I've never really seen the conferance facilities, theres just a small sign outside the cinema pointing to conferance rooms.
Would be worth a look into though :P

The Castleford branch looks pricey though. Just looked up the prices for their 'LazerZone' (paintball with infrared markers), £5 for 15minutes of gameplay
