why would I pay another £27 for games that I've already paid for the first time round?

Quick info for people....

It is a single DVD install, joy :).. The disk has it's own CD key (for some reason, I'm not sure why?) then it asks for CD-Keys for the individual games. If you enter your own CD's keys for the games you already own, it likes it :).. So this means, if you do already own the majority of the games, borrow the DVD off someone, enter your own CD keys when asks, and it will install Windows XP working versions of the games with your CD key. How legal is this? I'm not sure, I mean your only installing "working versions" of games you already have. :/

Thats a good point, i would have no moral feeling against it, as i had already bought that exact game before, its not like its anything new

FYI, Tiberian Dawn (C&C Gold), Red Alert and Tiberian Sun do not have functional online multiplay without using either third party hacks or the XWIS service (http://xwis.net/). The former two also completely lack LAN functionality (although again, C&C Gold can be hacked to use TCP/IP rather than IPX).

Also, in typical EA style, Red Alert is fatally bugged and will not play the Soviet mission FMV out of the box (because they convieniently forgot to update the code and the game is looking for the 'RA_Soviet' CD or something)

I'll stick to my retail CDs I think!
