MH3931 Pathfinder =UK= BF2.

On Saturday morning I dabbled. I wanted an unranked server for some clan training. Just setting sv.ranked to 0 on an existing profile didnt work because Strict Checking insisted on putting it back to 1. I then figured to create a new template for unranked and tweaked that and happy to say that all worked.

I also switched on clanmatch and removed the # symbol to enable loading of the clanmatch module. Happy to say the clanmatch worked fine. I think clanmatch is a great idea except it destroys all the squads and players need to reform their alliances (would be nice if the squads stayed in-place?).

After all the clan stuff was done I restarted Pathfinder with my usual 64 player profile (#8) and realised during play that the clanmatch was still switched on. I checked the profile and am certain that in modmanager the clanmatch module is disabled. I then launched BF2RSM that interfaces well with modmanager (by design) and was able to switch clanmatch off from BF2RSM without restarting the server.

Since then when I've restarted the server and checked in BF2RSM and it indicates the clanmatch is active. Is it me? I suspect that since clanmatch was switched on for the first time on Saturday morning it isn't being reset even after a server restart, like theres a flagfile or something? I keep using BF2RSM to turn it off and that works fine. Help!

Many thanks sorry for the long-wind.

You left it in your addons, so whenever you save your profile it's re-adding the load line. Remove it from addons and then remove it from modmanager.con.
