Hi guys
My flatmate (FTA Beat) needs a new pc. Although he loves his 4 year old death trap, his student loan will soon arrive, bringing with it a greatly needed upgrade. His budget is £350 or less, and here's where i come in.
Although Dave simply wants to buy a full machine, i continually tell him that 2nd hand components will not only produce a better pc, but are cheaper too....and that's where you come in.
I'm looking for any reasonable recent, yet not totally crap hardware to build Beat his new dream pc for less than his budget. Working PSUs, mobos, ram, processors, gfx cards, hdds or cases - if you've got it kicking around spare, i'd like to know what you'd sell it for.
Beat needs a new pc. Children in Africa send HIM money to get a better computer. The processor famously has burn marks - the previous PSU only got changed when it exploded, the side panel only stays on because it's dented, It hasnt been formatted in over 4 years, and when i just took the case off to take the attached photos, there was an empty pack of ciggies inside.
