Chris Morris is the satire genius hated by a lot of people, the day to day, brass eye etc. etc.

That just looks like a total dick of an IT Manager pissing off his colleagues.
Looks good though, cheers for the link :)

havent seen it so i might be wrong, but it looks a lot like
'less than perfect'
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Less_than_perfect
on 'abc1' right now... i was scrolling through channels and saw scrubs on that channel, so it got added to my favourites...

Nope, nothing like Less than Perfect.
I'm confused as to why Chris Morris was mentioned at the top of this thread, as from what I can see, he's not involved with this.
*edit* just seen that Chris Morris has a guest appearance.

Looks on the wiki like he's a main character.

The official site says "special appearances by Chris Morris" I trust that over wikipedia

"Jen's creepy date - Adam Buxton"
I MUST find a link to being related to this person, I MUST
In case it doesn't dawn on certain less awake people, my surname is Buxton as well
Strych

I'm related to Bill from Bill and Ted (Alex Winter); do I win?
This will either be utterly utterly win, or cringe-making on a par with Mr Bean...

Well we're all related to each other if we trace the family history right back.
You bunch of incestuous rednecks!

Hey the guy pronounces this on Channel 4 as the "it" crowd and not the "I.T." crowd.
Damn! This is gonna suck
Jazza
21st January 2006, 14:13
they got it wrong, it's the I.T. Crowd.
From Channel4.com
The high-rise towers of Renham Industries are full of go-getters, success stories, and winners... apart from in the basement. While their beautiful colleagues work upstairs in fantastic surroundings, the I.T. department - Jen, Roy and Moss - lurk below ground, scorned by their co-workers as geeky losers.

i think that's the joke in the title... I.T. people in general aren't considered to be part of the "IT" section of "society"
which personally I consider a good thing, if someone put me in the same category as Tara-ra-boom-de-ay Palmer-Tompkinson or Paris Hilton I'd kill myself

Thinking a show is going to suck because they use a play on words is well... plain stupid.
I'll reserve judgement for the first ep.

The first episode is available to watch on the C4 website. (http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/I/itcrowd/)
Can anyone spot the rather distinctive brand of school-IT hardware on display during the Basement scenes?
It's hard to make out but you should be able to get it.

dual screen auto-fullsize ftw!
it wasnt as bad as it could have been :) A lot of silence/repetition comedy but imo they could have done a lot worse.
Plus Chris Morris says Team a lot :D

Intro music I found quite good for a tv show.
Anyone spot the RM monitor on one of the background shelves?

Started awful but had a few half decent gags toward the end. Will flop utterly because no-one can associate/empathise with the main characters. The Moss character is awful and needed a far better actor/director to pull off.
End credits were the funniest bit of the whole lot. Leading birds looks alright, so might get a few male fans on that front...
Georgecooldude

was alright but I felt there was too much canned laughter. Would have prefered more computer jokes :)
Well its only 6 episodes in total so we'll have to watch and see what happens.
