Ping Problems From Sweden

Hey Multiplay!

I´ve read the forums and especially the one from the German Clan that had problems with ping on your server. That topic ended with, Problem solved, case closed. That´s fine, but i´m sad to tell you that we now have the same problem in sweden.

I get the same ping as the german guys, around 140-160. I will try do a test as you need to investigate it as soon as possible, but i´ll post this just to make you aware of the problem. I haven´t checked all the forums here, so it may be someone else posted the same issue, just direct me to that then :-)

This isen´t a one man problem as we all from sweden in my clan have the same problem..

If you can send us some WinMTR traces (as in the previous threads) from you and your clanmates when you're having problems, that'd be great :)

In addition, what ISPs are you using?

I´m at work at the moment, and i´m sure a really noob at internet traffic and stuff, so when you asking for ISPs I´m clueless what it is :confused: But I guess you have a perfect way to explain it for me :cool:

ISP = Internet Service Provider. Who do you buy your internet connection from?

yeah, just got what it ment, and it´s called Bredbandsbolaget a 10mb connection. I need to talk to them aswell cause I´ve heard they have had some problems with the online gaming part, but I have no problems on other servers so it must be something else than my connection cause the rest of the swedes got the same thingy...

The WinMTR readings will you a better idea of what is happening, it may not be in the first couple of hops, but maybe a link further down the line before it gets to MPUK, after you've performed the diagnostic tests I'm sure the reason will become apparent.

cheers duud. I just went in to our server it was empty but still I had a ping of 65! A great thing! Hopefully a bit later tonite it will stay that way.

I also went to another multiplay server, a Cod2 server with 26 peeps on it, and i had a steady ping of 75-90. Improvement from yesterday when everything was "black" for me and the swedish guys, 150-170 ping...

I´ll get a more updated thingy after I´ve played on our own server tonite.

Ok, got the problem again now tonite, got the background program runnin in the background and I only got this results from it, am i doing something wrong here?

That´s it, that´s the text file i can take out from it.
Seems to me it isen´t much of a info in there.
