Ping problems

No doubt about it this is a genuine problem and its not routing from another country

my BF2 server at 85.236.100.37:16667 usually pings 14 to 20 for me and yesterday and today Isometimes ping 120 and I am in Herts U.K. I know it could have been my ISP/Routing but I am getting lots of lag complaints and usually my server is rock solid.

I do think multiplay have a minor problem over this weekend maybe its just all the gamers on I dont know ?? as my server has been full all day since 8.30 A.M so others possibly are ???

It is starting to get my server a bad rep though, so if multiplay could look in to it, it may help to convince myself and other to stick ' loyal ' to multiplay who have so far
( a month ive had server) been superb.

I wil definately do that in fact im doing it now but how does this help re all the other people who are complaining re lag. There are loads of folk complaining. Surely this is just running a trace to me not to the other players.
To be honest im not really getting in game lag and can play 'fairly well' but I can see some people are lagging terribly and its not just one or two people.

Yes it needs to be the players complaining. If you are not seeing the issue you doing it will be no good, it has to be them.

but im hardly going to get gamers to install an ip tracer and run it for 20 mins am I , ? if its laggy its laggy and needs sorting TBH

I'm not in to pointless winging but if you just play on the server youd see its laggy and folk are not happy.

Without a trace from the people envolved there is nothing we will be able to do. The internet is one big arse place and it could be a problem any where!
