Hi folks. I have 2 fish tanks for sale, both coming with various bits & pieces.

The first up is a biiig fellow made by Seabray. This tank is 6ftx2ftx2ft. As you can see I bought the stand for it too and it comes with a fitted removeable hood. There are 2 sets of sliding glass doors in the roof, providing easy access to pretty well all of the tank. The tank/stand alone cost me £650 brand new 5 years ago. Pics below:

Apologies for the wall pictures etc in the photos, my housemate/landlord has no taste, whatsoever, period. Also no fish in those pics, they had already gone into show tanks at the local aquarium :).

To go with this I have 3 Fluval 403 silent Canister filter units complete with cut to size tubing that sits behind the tank providing outstanding filtration and minimal maintanence. 4 Rena Air 400 pumps provide more than enough air silently to the tank. About £400+ of filtration/airpumps alone there. All purchased new. Air bricks/tubing are also no problem ;)

I have 2 expensive lighting units in the roof area (can't remember the name without going into the freezing garage), but each unit cost me £60 each. These power 2 5 foot tubes and then I have 2 Arcadia lighting units powering some additional 2 foot tubes I have running along the centre of the tankLighting must have cost around 180 including tubes. I have some spare tubes too and all the tubes have reflectors fitted to enhance the light levels.

2 300W Visi-therm temperature controlled heaters are provided.

I have a LOT of gravel, mostly the fine stuff which is preferred for tanks. About 5 storage boxes worth sitting on the patio from the tank, you would really need to bring some with you as woman wants them back! :D

Add to this god knows how much money spent on expensive bits of scenery (most not shown in the pictures and variuous other bits such as nets, you name it and you get the complete package upon which to build an awesome aquarium.

The tank did get slightly damaged during transportation down to me when I first bought it, but a guy from the manufactured came down and repaired the damage. The damage was in a bottom corener of the base, part of the double plate glass base got cracked and this he applied some 'tough as' liquid cement type stuff. The inner plate was complete intact All seals perfectly intact and has held water perfectly for 5 years :), I had to replace a sliding roof lid too after I broke it cleaning it in the sink......

I have probably missed some things and will update as and when, but I want this out of my garage, where it went to just before chrimbo. You WILL need a van to transport this, no ifs, no buts imo due to the size alone. I am 300 lbs and can easily lift my own weight, yet 2 of us can barely lift the tank on it's own so you have been warned, it is very, very heavy so bear that in mind too when collecting. The price of all these bits, that are all fully functional goes well into 4 figures. I will sell the whole lot mentioned above and throw in various other bits not mentioned for £300, no offers at all guys.

For those of you that know Andyf, he can indeed confirm that only a few weeks ago it was quite happily sitting in my living room full of water ;).

The second tank isa stylish little number. A Jewel Trigon 190 corner tank, complete with matching stand. Purchased new by me about 2 years ago. I couldn't stand the pants built in filtration/heating unit, so sliced it all out perfectly and modified the rear of the hood to accept tubes from the Fluval 304 filter I fitted in as well as the 75w Visitherm heater unit. Pictures below:

The fish were removed about a month before those pics were taken, so it doesn't look overly beautiful inside ;).

As mentioned, it comes with a Fluval 304 Silent canister filter, 75W Visi-Therm temp controller heater and an Interpet Airvolution 3 Air Pump. Various items of scenery, all the fine gravel you could need for it and various old plastic plants ;). I used to only have natural plants, but they just got decimated all the time ;).

The lighting unit is built in to the hood and contains 2 tubes with reflectors fitted to increase brightness.

This tank with the cabinet alone costs around the £400+ mark to buy now new, without gravel, enhanced filtratrion or the air pump. I would like £200 for this lot, no offers at all either as I see these going for a fair bit more second hand and they are very stylish tanks.

If you are lucky a big 4x4 could take this, or something like a Ford Galaxy with ease.

I am in Farnham, Surrey.

Cheers,

Nick :).

Bit too far for me to come (5+ hour one way) otherwise I'd be tempted by that corner unit. Should go quick though, specially if you have advertised elsewhere, local paper etc.
