Splinter Cell 4: Double Agent

Just saw a trailer for this, only reliable source to DL at the moment being fileplanet.

All in all looks like a different type of game from previous.

This time seeing you play as sam fisher on the run getting locked up and being accepted into a terrioist reigme, not many details yet. Just what you can conclude from the trailer. SC fans should check it out.

the double agent aspect meaning you have two conflicting mission objectives, for the terrorists as the undercover agent, and for 3rd echelon as their agent. killing too many police, etc looks bad to 3rd echelon, killing too few police or killing terrorists you work with looks bad to the terrorists.

i like the sound of this as it's not "just another campaign"

i heard a rumour that Sarah is either dead/missing but dont hold me to that. ive got mixed feelings on it tbh, i will have to see closer to the time.

I get the feeling this one wont have the same kinda toys as previous titles. Anything after this title regardless of how good Double Agent may turn out to be, will simply be a case of whoring the title.

Chaos theory was very good, co-op great idea.
But it was somewhat left riddled with bugs and no new maps made, shame i really enjoyed it whilst it lasted.

never botherd with the single player of the splinter cell games, the vs mode however was amazing, cant wait for more :p
