cant find ne players

lo all

got a weird problem - my clan rents a ranked server from multiplay but we cant play on it cos it always empty :eek:

we,ve tried all sorts including changing map rotation tweaking configs (as far as ranked system will allow) but still to no avail - must admit its getting to the stage its hard to justify keeping it just take a look at our useage graph :(

with the 10 player limit most of the time the game aint even starting

as far as we know its listed correctly so short of giving out free beer to players any one got any suggestions :confused:

Make it Karkand 24/7 with 100 rounds a map and then it will fill up if you get 5 people on it

You need to get public servers 'going' - since noone wants to join an empty server.

Organise some of your clan to all meet up for a knock around and people will then join.

As mentioned above, popular maps help too :)

Yeah alot has to do with how many members you have in your clan that are willing to idle if need be to get the server started....We have this problem most nights but we are lucky that we have a decent size group of chaps....Try starting you server on Dalian or Karkand they usualy get the game going.....24/7 Karkand (tutt tutt)...Good luck mate and dnt give up....

ps... You may find it easier now, since alot of servers have made the switch to SF..;)

cheers for the replys guys tis reassuring to know its not isolated to just us

managed to get it kick started last night but twas l8 n it kinda died after a few hours as we all passed out lol.

think as ya,s say we,ll need to get on there and have some starting partys perhaps one night of the week dedicated clan night for it or sommit.

tis hard tho cos we,re usd to or cod being self maintaining and being able to pop on whenever

I expect we,re gonna giv special forces a go too see if that helps

the hired starting partys a thought do ya accept groats and sheep ;) ....

Also, if your server can build up a good reputation for being fun and always people on it, then people will of course bookmark and return there :)
